fPlayer is a small audio player that you can use to listen to all of your music from a very simple interface. The program was developed under the .NET Framework platform and is compatible with any audio format, as long as you've previously installed the corresponding MCI codec.
Some of the program's basic features include reading and editing ID3 tags, a complete music library system that you can manage manually, the ability to create playlists, and shuffle mode for playing music. It also supports M3U playlists.
One interesting feature that is exclusive to this application is 'party' mode, a kind of frontend where you'll see what song is playing as well as what's up next, and also gives you the ability to activate a sort of 'karaoke' that will display the song's lyrics. You can export and import lyrics using FPL format.
fPlayer has been designed specifically for Windows 7, although it is compatible with earlier versions, and also with Windows 8. It's an excellent audio player that stands out for its simplicity and versatility.
